As part of Chicago’s Ear Taxi Festival, Holocene (Phoebe Wu, Piano; Isidora Nojkovic, Cello; Dalia Chin, Flute) will give the world premiere of a new work by Emma Hospelhorn.

The Universal Energy is About to Intervene in Your Life is a setting of a poem by Jenny Zhang, arranged for flute, cello, piano, and voice.

Emma Hospelhorn is the recipient of an Ear Taxi Micro-Grant for composers, and will perform with the trio for the premiere of this piece.
